Firecat Sprinkler Systems was designed and developed by Mania National in 2002. Mania National, a leading manufacturer of Plumbing Products in Western Australia, believed that Fire Safety should be as simple as getting water to your Sprinklers at a given rate directly from the Minister's mains. Our Template was based on the commercial system which was reconfigured using affordability and price as our benchmark to get a cost effective home fire sprinkler system.
The system was developed using recommendations in the Branz Report F C R 5a. This report was prepared for and funded by the Building Commission of Victoria, and current trends in the United States. The Firecat Sprinkler System incorporating various design patents and exceeds the design criteria as stated in the Branz report, and the draft V19A Australian Standard AS 2118 Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems.
